Well I have been playing a fun game recently. www.Evony.com Its kind of confusing at first, but once you learn what your doing. It is very fun. Its something you can, do while doing other things or play it dedicated. Most importantly it is free. Basically you start with a town, where you can build various buildings, and train different troops, and raise different resources. Once your ready you can attack other areas. To get the best experience of the game you'll want to get a decent guild. It is a very community friendly game. Make new friends and help others, wage war on other guilds. One of the ways the game encourages you to play is quests. You get in game rewards for building certain buildings or obtaining certain amounts of resources. There are a couple of good guides that will help you. http://theevonywiki.com/ http://theevonywiki.com/index.php/Main_Page These are the two I most often use. Very useful for helping you determine what troops you'll need in order to attack certain areas while not suffering any losses to your own troops. The only real critcism I have about the game is the option to buy in game items. It gives people who can afford to do so an unfair advantage. That aside, its a great pass time. Once you get good enough, you can build up to ten cities, and amass huge armies, though it is time consuming to do so. It is not a game that has a definite end to it. I have been playing it myself now for about a month, and my wife has started playing it as well simply from watching me. The graphics also help. It gives one a better feel for the land than some other games where you build up resources and armies, that do not offer graphics. What I have discovered alot of people will do is build one city, normally the main city, for recources, and a second or even thrid for wars. War cities normally are made of barracks, and cottages, mostly and Farms. An added spice tot he game is every day you get a token good for one spin of a wheel. You can get anyhting from resources on this wheel, to items that increase production of those resources. Other items give you troops or medals used to increase rank or title. So give it a try, you have one week to build yourself up before your protection is over, and other cities can attack you. So give it a try, and if its not your cup of tea, there is no commitment, but you might just find yourself as hooked as I am.

Dumb Luck

I know the old saying is "If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all."
For me though I would have to say If not for Dumb Luck. I got to my weekly meeting two
hours before I was supose to. And I realize I have never been on time for a single interview
or meeting sense I have been it Pittsburgh, I've always been about two hours early.
Well Sense I was so early I got a chance to meet with the President of G & M Marketing, and
He seemed real impressed by me. Now I was so focused on reaching my goal of minium sales,
I had forgotten that if I did $300 I'd be able to go to a corprate meeting in Tolitele Ohio,
and after that would be bowling, with a third game where everyone wins cash if I can manage
sales of $800. Now I'm not big on bowling but this is still a great oppertunity. Well he went
and made two exceptions for me. First I'd only need $200 in sales to go to the meeting on
friday. Second He extended the period of which my sales would be worth double points to me
till Monday.

So I'm really excited about that. I've got my fingers crossed. I rreally want to end this
part of my training asap, so I can move on.

Well thats a breif highlight of my day.

Well I turned in my sales today, got extending on my double bonus till thursday.
Yea for me. I also learned we do ship to Canada. Nothing to add beyond that today.

Well, I had my meeting today, learned alot more about what I'll be doing.
But, before my actual manager training begins I have to do, what I'll be
managing. Which is selling our Halon products. Fire Extingishers, fire
alarms, co alarms and other various safty products.
I merely need to sell $300 worth of products before monday.
And a total of $1500 by friday.
If I can do this, I can begin my training friday.
Then its only 25-90 days before I become a manager of my own office.
Sense 25 is the record time anyone has done this in, that has become my
goal.
Now in order to sell these products, I need to give fire saftey presentations.
In person, or I can do this over the phone. I will be doing both, but sense
the last two years of my work has involved phones I'll probally end up doing
a magority that way. But that will require me to take credit card info for the
sale.

So, if any one has time and would like to let me practice my presentation on them,
please feel free to contact me, Kinghunter@hotmail.com to set up a time where I can
give you a call and go over this routine. I won't try to force any product on you you
don't want or need, but I ask to sell something. Products range from packages coasting
hundreds, to indivdual items caosting as low as $20.

Well I've got a few call to make tonight, and things to go over, but I'll post

I got the job.

I'll be a manager for Haylon enterpises.
I still dunno what I'm gonna be doing but I'll have a secratary.

Haylon deals with fire prevention equipment, fire detectors, and exstingishers.
I have my choice of new locations, I would love to be able to pick
Buffalo or syracuse NY. But moving ain't in the piccture So I'll just pick one of the pittsburgh positions.

How do you get highed for a job where you don't know what your doing?
It just seems wrong.
My military experience and never breaking eye contact seem to be what have won me this job.
although I must admit to being a bit siily.

Well I have a new job interview tomorrow. Wish I knew what to expect though. The add didn't say, so I called in. I learned very little, 13 new positions were being opened for fire protection. Its a manager position, and I am to be trained in that. I was told all other information would be provided tomorrow. Makes me feel a little strange, and unable to prepare mentally. But whatcha gonna do?

Seem to be a bit ill as of late. Little things been bothering me for a couple days... taken some asprin, but still have a short temper when I'm ill and don't like that. I hope it will pass soon enough though.

Wolf At the Door

I'm reminded of a program where five tales are told. Some of them are real and based on true events others are made up. The progam then askes the viewer to decide which is real. Beyond Belief Fact or Fiction. I highly enjoy the progam.

Truth is often stranger than fiction or so it would seem.

I was watching the national geographic channel with my wife last night. They were documenting the various wolves and wild dogs and canines around the world. Which has very few true loners, as almost off of these canines are highly sociable pack animals, This is particularly noticable with the care of young pups, and how all wolves take part in raising and teaching them.

The program breifly touched on a story I had heard in much more detail before. I was kinda sad that they did not get all the facts, but what can you do when you only have 45 minutes for a progam?

Sevral small villags in Inda were being terrorized. It started when a young child playing near the edge of a village vanished in a matter of seconds without a sign. The shredded body was found later. Fear gripped the people of these villages as the killer grew even bolder with every precation that was taken. To the point where children and babies were vanishing from thier beds at night. There was a total of 72 attacks. It was a long process to identify the killer. The rare paw print and bite marks ruled out the usual suspects of tigers or hyenas and pointed to the Indian Wolf. Dispite the bad press wolves have due to little girls in red capes and lying piglets This is not typical behavior for a wolf, and reports of wolves attacking humans are very rare. People could not believe that a wolf was doing this. Trackers and Hunters were brought in, and staked out sevral of the villages. Eventually two very large wolves were killed, and the killings stopped. An alpha male and female.

Now the story itself is very unique with just hearing this, but the program left out this detail. Why had these wolves done this? A week before the first killing. The people of the town that was the first attacked had found a den of pups, and killed them all.

With that one bit of information the motive is clear. These wolves lost thier children and took revenge on the surronding people by killing thier children. Victoria does not beleive that Vengance could be the reason for these killings. I must admit it does seem suitable for a tale of beyond belief fact or fiction.
If I did not know this was true, I would still believe that such sociable creatures are capable of emotion.

Discovery

I've loved the discovery channel every sense I was a kid. I always enjoyed the animal related programming. From seals mating to lions pulling down a zebra which always aroused me for some reason. Yea, any ways.

Animal Planet is a much better version of discovery, cause is animals all the time... cept for six o'clock in the morning when its infomertails. And now animal programs are alright, but seldom do I see what I prefer even to animals. Dinosaurs. I'm a fan of the BBC's Walking with programs. Sesne with computer graphics allow fow use to see hypothisised stories about thier lives.

Three programs I really enjoy:
Dragons A Dantasy Made Real: Were they detail if dragons were real, how they evolved, and the scentific reasons for everything we love about them.

Planet X: A planet Called Darwin IV is discovered in a so called sweet spot and probes are sent to discover what sort of creatures live there.

The Future is wild: Humans have left an inhabitable earth, but 5 million, 100 million, and 200 million years later send probes back to determine evolution.

And all of these are not merely made up, they actually explain the science behind it, on Planet X, they even had Stephen Hawkings explaining things.

I just wish shows like these were seris and not just specails. I like the fantasy of it all.

And oh if you've read this far, I guess you deserve to learn I was joking about the Zebras.

I watch wrestling and I know its fake.

That said I still enjoy it, even though its not the same as 20 years ago... even though some like rick Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Animal of the road warrairs are still wrestling. It has been an amazing weak, 3 title belts changes hands from people I was rooting for. One Champoin due to injuries, Batista had to relinquish the title due to injuries, he would be unable to defend the belt for 30 days. It may be planned, but it is still very physical and accidents do happen. So there was a 20 person over the top rope battle royal to determine the new champ. But what no one expected was that Kurt Angle the olypmic gold medlist was the 20th man. He's from monday night raw, not Friday night Smackdown. He eliminated many people, but Mark Henry, who returned a few weeks ago also weaked havoc, eliminating many. He and Angle slipped outside under the bottom rope and fought, till Angle was driven through the annoucement table. Mark henry after many more were thrown over the top, only he and Rey Mysterio was left. David Vs Golith. and though it looked many times like David might win, he was finally thrown over the top. All thought that Mark Henry had won. They forgot about Angle. It was great, Angle is an ASSHOLE. No one has every really liked him. He has been on a downward spirl lately, cursing the troops in iraq, and people continually chanted You suck, to his music, but tonight, they shouted lets go Angle... and I was rooting for him as well. And through some miricle he won.

Its weird I have hated angle for so long, and so did vicki, and yet I am glad he won.

Okay enough wrestling I'm sure more than a few of you don't care.
So I will end this with something that will probally make you sick.

This has bothered me for a while, now I'm not a full blown xenophobe but I like to be clean whenever possible. We all do, which is why we all wash our hands after we use the restroom. Well most people anyways... but its usually a futile effort. Think about it, we turn on the the handle to turn on the water, soap up our hands, wash, then with our clean hands we use the same handels to turn off the water, and just contaminate our hands again. How many people besides Adiran Monk wash thier facet handels while washing thier hands? I'm not even gonna get started on public restrooms...

Well, it has been a disapointing lenght sense my last post in which I displayed my objectives to try to post some original writtings of my own design at least once a week. And yet again I have let none save myself down.

Onto other hiegths of adventure. I have a new job working for PNC Bank, in a very tall tower. The other day I leaned back in my chair and looked out the window of the 37th floor I remembered something. I hate heights. The opening scene of the hudsucker proxy keeps replaing in my mind. Though I have to admit, that high up, it is amussing to see snow fall upwards.

I have done a couple of things I am very proud of last year. Back in July I was collecting the mcdonalds neopets happy meal toys. Okay so I'm a big kid at heart. I was on my way to play some Dungens and Dragons with friends, when I stopped in to collect some more kougera's tigers basically. On the stret, was a lady on cruches, the bus we both wanted the bus that was about to turn the corner, I ran over to it, and asked the driver to wait for her, and he did. When she and I was on the bus we talked, and she was a real nice lady.and I had showed her the Kougeras. She thought they were nice, and so I took a red one, I had a couple, and gave it to her. She thanked me and looked genually happy. And by the time I had to get off the bus, I noticed she had fallen asleep next to the window, her little toy clutched tightly to her chin as she slept. and I felt good.

In August I was coming home from a prerelease tournement of Magic the Gathering. I had stopped at mcdonalds, having only a few bucks on me and purchased some sandwhiches off the dollar menu. I then walked past three bus stops, not sure why, but I stopped at the fourth. I could catch the same bus at any of them. I sat at the stop, next to a nice old lady I spoke withm but she then mentioned Due to the buses, she had missed her earlier bus, and was worried cause she was diabetic, and had not gotten her insulin shot today. So I offered her a sandwhich. Her eyes went wide and she thanked me profusely. She assured me that it was her favorite sandwich. Double Cheese Burger. And she continued to say I must have been her angel sent to help her when she needed it. Unfortuently my bus came before hers did, but again I left feeling good.

Now just a couple days after christmas I was just about to sit down at a seat in mcdonalds to eat the sandwiches I had bought... My back had been hurting me cause I was standing for too long again. But I saw a young woman with a baby in her arms and struggling with her carrage at the doors. So I stuff my food into my bag and double time it to get ahead of her and hold open the doors for her. Now it was a wide section of hallway, and I didn't come near to touching her carrage. She yelled at me though cursing me saying 'Can't you see I have a carrage' But then I guess it was a friend who was coming up on us, with a couple of bags of food said, 'I think thats why he went to hold the door for you.' So I held the door till they left, and she never apologiesed, and I felt angry for a while, wanting to curse at her. But I thought to myself and realized I had not done what I did for thanks, I never did. So when the bus finally came I left, and was feeling good about what I did.

It seems like forever sense I've updated this. I just haven't been on the computer much
Well if anyone was wondering I guess this proves I'm still alive.
Or atlast a horrible zombie of somesort who has managed to keep my mastery of the english language.
Mmmmmm Brains....

I've been meaning to write some more. But something holds me back. I look at some of my past works and can't believe I did it, and doubt I could continue at that level. Regardless I think I'll try to post a story of some sort at least once a week.

Thunder cracked and lightning filled an omonusly dark sky for only a moment, before the night was plunged back into darkness. It was a humid, dry night, despite the thunder and lightning threatening a trenechail downpour. The heat made the trek up the forebodding tower of somniferous all the more dangerous.

A Minotaur guarded the stairwell that lead to the third story of the garganutain tower. The beast was a hidous mockery of humanity. It had the pelvis and legs of a man, while his torso and head was that of a bull. It sneered and snarled as it lunged forth swinging its massive black axe.

Another blade struck before the axe could find its mark, the vile blood of the minotaur spurred forth from the deep gash the warrior had made with a single swing of his holy blade. The beast gurgled a defeated cry as its torso slipped apart, its head lolling back bring the upper portion of the torso to the ground with it.

"I grow weary of having to sharpen my blade on these creations." Restion the warrior of light sighed with disgust as he came of the stairwell stepping into the hallway propper. Jerion followed him, his own blade ready. He sethed it for a moment as he checked the corpse.
"At least it won't be getting up."

Isope followed at a safe distance as he plucked the strings of his lyre, to depicte the Exploits of Restion.

"Our hero of strength and viture true,
Slew the beast through and through.
His sword once again found home
As promised in the ancient tome."

Jerion shook his head, ignoring the Bard's words.
"Which way, my Lord?"
Restion looked down the hallway and then at the corpse of the Miotaur. He saw no key. Lifting his blade up before his forehead he sensed nothing.
"Scrying spells just won't work in this dark place," He said with another sigh.

"Through the darkness the light could not shine,
Our Hero was running low on time.
Though each foe he would stop,
He could only travel blindly towards the top."

Jerion looked towards Restion.
"Unfortunetly he is right."
Restion nodded, and they marched forth down the hallway with thier swords drawn.

The small imp glared from a darkened corner at the end of the hall. The foul smelling humans were aproaching having slain Kirath the Minotaur. The Imp spotted his targter gleaming in the darkness. The Holy Sword of the Pheonix. If it could steal and break this blade, the human would be lost. It leapt forth, but the blade struck the imp.

Restion did not bother looking at the Imp he had just slain. It was a fould creature hardly worht his time to kill. And he had many more levels to climb before the night would be over.

Saile The Dragon Knight of the mist bowed before her master, the lord of the somniferous. The Dread Knight of Oblivion.
"My lord, The weilder of the Pheonix blade draws ever nearer. He and his companions have bested nearly all of the towers guards."
"I see..." The Dread lord said as he rested his chin on his fist.
"No need to waste any more then. The soldiers that fill this tower grow harder to find."
Saile nodded as she rose.
"I understand."

Restion gripped his sword tightly as they continued up the stairway in darkness. He had grown uneasy. They had crossed many levels with no signs of enemies.
"I do not think I like this." Jerion agreed to Restion's silent thoughts.

"Greeting to the tower of Somniferous, Though I must say you were expected sooner." Saile taunted from the top of the stairway. The warriors swords drawn just glared at her.
"Now, there is no need for that, I have been given orders, to Escort you to the zenith of this tower."
"And why should we trust you?" Jerion Hissed.
"You needn't." She retorted and turned away, retreating back the way she had came.
"Do we trust her?"
Restion did not answer.

They followed the Dragon knight, though they were sure to keep a distance. They did not want any surprises or traps as they entered a grand chamber. The Dragon knight approached the throne and knealed beside the throne of her master.

"Welcome Hero."
"I will Slay you..."
"Come now, there is no need for bravado here." The Dark lord spoke soflty and smoothely as he stood.
"Now, I know you don't want to kill me, its what the people want, and you serve them."
"I serve what is right!"
"Why? With your power and skill why not Serve yourself. Join me, by my side and you shall have all the wealth and power you can dream of and all the Carnal pleasures you Desire."
"Restion would Never..." Jerion began to speak for his friend as he stepped foreward. Restion's blade sliced deep into Jerion's back. He stepped foreward, twisting his blade as he Plunged it deep through Jerion's Chest. His former friend feel limb from his blade, landing in a jumbled heap on the floor.

"Oh what a twisted Fate
For one so good to subcome to his Hate...."

With another quick slash of his sword, the minstrals head was liberated from his shoulders.
"I will serve you." Restion promised.

Possabilities

It has come to my attention that I never explained what force made me post my last update.
To tell the truth I don't really know myself.
I had just been thinking alot. I'm not sure if there is a greater perpose, and I don't know if this is all we have. But I was thinking about a possibility, or rather a mixture of possabilities.
What if tyme is not a straight line but a continual loop? and our lives have been lived before? in different times and places? is it possible for people to have meet everyone else at some time or will in a past or present life? Could I have been this person before I came into this form of conciousness?
But I mentioned a mixture and the mixture runs parral to time, the best I could describe it would be if you have ever seen sliders of quantum leap, an endless amount of parral words each in a time loop of repeating reccurances. If such a thing were possible it is safe to assume ever possibilty could have occured... and that leads to a question simular to what I ended my last post with.

I had taken the long busride to work again, and had an hour still to kill time, before my training session began, So I had Stopped at the Big Lots next store, bought a ledger and some pens. I sat down in the break room and began to write some random ideas I had. My story Line Archlen has sevral unclear points or questions left open, so this story was designed to point thos ethings out, but NOT to answer any of the questions. Kinda teasingly poking fun at my own plotholes... Eventually one of my co workers came in, to wait as well, and noticed me writting, I let her read the three pages I had. She finished sat it down and asked "Why Are you here?" I didn't understand her at first, then she elaborated on her question by saying "This is good!" So why are you here?"
I need money. A simple answer, but As I explained to her more about my world of Archlen she just stared at me in fascination the someone seeing a masterpiece in the works must have looked.
Its a rather nice ego boost though I typically doubt my own skill no matter how many people say other wise. a writer is always his toughest critic.

I em feeling so elaited right now. I just got back from a job interview, and with my recent run or bad luck I was not expecting to get it.
Foolish me. I start Monday as a Costomer Service Rep for Direct TV.
Its rather amussing, I had Direct TV while I was in Mississippi, and it was okay, but sense I have been in Pittsburgh I much preffer Comcast. I didn't mention that, or that my father in law worked for comcast.

I was flipping through some channels for something to watch till Dothacklegend came on last night, when I came across the BBC. I was hoping to catch an episode of The thin Blue line, but thats on thursdays.. I think.
I was instead plesently surprised to watch The Avengers and The saint. Roger Moore is such a better actor than Val Kilmer. IMHO.
It was rather reffesing to see these old shows. Which I rather like.

Recently I have been watching alot of Anime I first saw so long ago on Scifi's Rising sun Satderday morning Anime Invasion. Record of the Lodoos war, Armitage the Third, Saturn wars, Akira... but one has slipped my name. I know it was a two parter. The only scene I remember is a young boy and girl fighting off a menace, then the heroine showed up to save the day, and the young boy was killed. The young girl and heroine went on to fight the heroines evil brother or fomer lover or someone who was controling this darkness... does this ring any bells?
